Questions & Answers

How to start a preventative maintenance program?

Dynamo will work with you to develop a thorough inventory of equipment and an understanding of your system operating philosophy.  Based on risks to Production, Efficiency, Redundancy, and Safety we will propose the most effective and efficient maintenance program to meet your schedule with minimal downtime.

What about Power Quality monitoring?

Power systems of today are using state-of-the-art technology for communication and control.  These systems are very sensitive to subtle power surges, voltage drops, and harmonic disturbances.  These power quality variations can lead to equipment malfunction or damage.  It becomes imperative to ensure that any power quality issues are addressed and minimized to avoid costly downtime. Dynamo will work with you to develop a cost-effective solution to reduce or eliminate power quality issues.

What is the difference between preventative and predictive maintenance?

Preventative Maintenance is accomplished through regularly scheduled inspection, testing and repairs of equipment, while Predictive Maintenance uses real time monitoring of equipment characteristics to identify potential problems and maintenance requirements before they cause an unplanned interruption.

What makes us different from other testing companies?

The depth of our team enables quick access to engineering, manufacturing, and electrical installation support as needed.  We are also vendor neutral so able to support any OEM equipment.
