Dynamo was contacted by The Mosaic Company after they experienced a catastrophic internal failure to one of their critical main 115kV, 15 MVA power transformers.
Dynamo sourced a suitable spare unit and started the process of moving it to site. Our scope consisted of pre-testing, draining, disassembly and transporting the replacement transformer from Pasco, WA to Carslbad, NM.
The failed transformer was dissembled and removed from site to allow for the replacement transformer to be placed, reassembled, vacuum process filled, tested, and commissioned. From the initial arrival of Dynamo personnel in Pasco, WA to the energization onsite in Carslbad, NM the scope of work was successfully completed in just 14 days.
