How to start a preventative maintenance program?

What is the difference between preventative and predictive maintenance?


Preventative Maintenance is accomplished through regularly scheduled inspection, testing and repairs of equipment ,while Predictive Maintenance uses real time monitoring of equipment characteristics to identify potential problems and maintenance requirements before they cause an unplanned interruption.
