With tight timelines and equipment logistic issues, Dynamo's team of electrical specialists successfully installed and commissioned a new 25kV underground substation to meet the electrical demands of the Hudbay Minerals Inc. Lalor mine expansion. The project was executed on schedule and within budget. Work included the installation, testing and commissioning of:
• One (1) 7.5MVA, 25kV: 13.8kV transformer and integral control cabinet
• One (1) 25kV Main Breaker
• One (1) 13.8kV Main Breaker
• Two (2) 13.8kV Fused Disconnects and Fuses
• One (1) 13.8kV NGR Assembly
• One (1) 25kV Square D HVL Fused Disconnect
• One (1) 125VDC Battery Bank (Battery Assembly and interior wiring)
• One (1) 500kVA, 25kV:600V Transformer Assembly (including NGR & Protection/Control cabinet
