Dynamo was retained by SaskPower to remove seven (7) 230 kV air circuit breakers and current transformers (CTs) and replace them with new SF6 live tank circuit breakers and CTs.
The scope of work included the demo and disposal of existing 230 kV breakers and CTs, excavation and installation of new concrete slabs on grade for the new breaker, CT supports, and the removal and replacement of all protection and control cabling. All removal, replacement, commissioning, and energization took place in a brownfield setting.
