For today's Throwback Thursday, we take a look at when Dynamo was awarded the motor protection relay upgrade project at the Tolko Industries Meadow Lake OSB facility.
The scope of work was to upgrade the existing GE 269 Motor Management Relays to GE 869 Motor Protection Relays. The relay upgrade project consisted of supplying, installing and commissioning new relays for all twelve (12) existing 4,160 V motors. Dynamo was responsible for equipment selection, material procurement, setting design, bench testing, relay installation, panel fabrication, setting conversion, and site commissioning.
The Tolko Industries Meadow Lake OSB facility has partnered with Dynamo to provide electrical maintenance and upgrade projects since the facility opened in 2003.
