Dynamo was contracted to construct a CSA certified PLC Control Bay from preliminary layout and schematic drawings provided by the client. Also included were the supply of network computers and associated software. From Dynamo’s extensive panel design experience, our team suggested alternative design options to better suit the client’s design requirements

Dynamo was contracted to execute a 138 kV substation expansion and 25 kV capacitor addition to ABB’s Static Var Compensation installation at SaskPower’s Points North Substation.

The Cory Cogeneration Station experienced a phase to ground fault on a 138 kV transformer termination.  The 138 kV cable traveling underground from the GSU transformer to the gas insulated switchgear in the 138 kV E-house was also damaged. 

Dynamo has grown to be a trusted service provider and partner for SaskPower, completing numerous support projects under numerous Master Service Agreements.  Our scope of supply ranges from engineering to substation construction complete with structures, custom E-House control building manufacturing, relay protection and SCADA panel supply, as well as complex testing and commissioning services. 

Dynamo was retained to complete the scope of work which included structure fabrication and erection, apparatus installation including switches, breakers and current transformers, bus erection, cable trench installation, removal/salvage work along with below grade ducting as well as below and above grade grounding work.

The Bighorn Unit 1 Balance of Plant (BOP) was a large design-build project associated with the refurbishment/ replacement of Unit 1, 60 MW hydro turbine/generator components.
