PROJECT SUMMARY:

Dynamo executed the electrical and civil work for the brownfield 72 kV station at the QE6 (Q3N) In-Line Breaker Substation located near Saskatoon, SK. Our scope encompassed several critical tasks, including:

·         Installation of ducts and grounding systems.

·         Erection and assembly of electrical apparatus.

·         Installation of flexible bus and fittings.

·         Fabrication and modification of steel structures.

·         Protection and control modifications associated with the 72 kV breaker replacement.

Additionally, we were responsible for site remediation to address any ground disturbances or excavations carried out by the civil subcontractor.

Upon completion of the construction activities, Dynamo performed ground grid impedance testing. With assistance from GE Vernova, comprehensive testing and commissioning of the 72 kV breakers was successfully completed before energization.
