Dynamo was retained to complete the scope of work which included structure fabrication and erection, apparatus installation including switches, breakers and current transformers, bus erection, cable trench installation, removal/salvage work along with below grade ducting as well as below and above grade grounding work.

Dynamo performed the installation and commissioning of seven engineered 15 kV cable bus systems supplied by Superior Tray.  Each system consisted of six parallel runs, 18 total, of either 500 MCM or 750 MCM, 15 kV cables with lengths ranging from 70’ to 600’. 

Dynamo reverse engineered an existing control cabinet and repurposed it to control a newly designed drum scraper test set.

Dynamo completed the installation and commissioning of the Brine Pond Expansion Pump House electrical system.  The scope consisted of the installation and commissioning of 25 kV and 5 kV cables, a 25–5 kV oil-filled transformer, 5 kV switchgear and associated pumps,
600 V cabling, switchgear and associated 600 V loads, as well as 208 V distribution, cable terminations, and cable testing.

Dynamo was retained to design a new controls interface for the main burner system at the Thunder Creek Pork facility in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.  A combination of existing and new equipment was used to complete the design.

The Bighorn Unit 1 Balance of Plant (BOP) was a large design-build project associated with the refurbishment/ replacement of Unit 1, 60 MW hydro turbine/generator components.
