PROJECT SUMMARY:

EVRAZ NA is a global steel and mining company and the leading producer of infrastructure steel products in North America. They are among the top 30 steel producers in the world and own and operate major assets in Russia and North America.

 

Dynamo completed a design-build 138 kV substation as part of the Melt Shop expansion project at the Regina facility. Deliverables included detailed engineering, installation of all piles and foundations, as well as the fabrication and installation of all apparatus structural steel and steel pile caps. Installation of a 138 kV line disconnect, two (2) 138 kV motor operated disconnects, four (4) 138 kV circuit breakers, two (2) 90/120 MVA, 138–15 kV Siemens Energy power transformers and all associated insulators, aluminum bus, and cabling, as well as commissioning and start-up.
