PROJECT SUMMARY:
Dynamo completed the greenfield construction of the 230 kV Rowatt Switching Station. The scope of electrical and Protection and Control (P&C) work included:
· Complete installation of apparatus wiring.
· Below-surface and above-grade grounding and bonding.
· Above-grade ducting and underground ducts.
· Installation of rigid and flexible bus.
· Fabrication of relay panels.
· Installation and wiring of field cabling and panels.
· Testing and commissioning, including IEC 61850 and GOOSE messaging.
The installation of the 230 kV electrical apparatus was comprised of:
· Five (5) circuit breakers.
· Five (5) sets of Current Transformers (CTs).
· Six (6) sets of Potential Transformers (PTs).
· Fourteen (14) manual switches.
· Five (5) LM switches.
