PROJECT SUMMARY:
SaskPower is the electric utility in Saskatchewan. Established nearly 100 years ago they s, they serve over 500,000 customers and manage over $10 billion in assets.
Dynamo was retained to remove seven (7) 230 kV air circuit breakers and current transformers (CTs) and replace them with new SF6 live tank circuit breakers and CTs.
The scope of work included the demo and disposal of existing 230 kV breakers and CTs, excavation, and installation of new concrete slabs on grade for the new breaker and CT supports, and the removal and replacement of all protection and control cabling.
All removal, replacement, commissioning, and energization took place in a brownfield setting.
