SaskPower is the electric utility in Saskatchewan. Established nearly 100 years ago they s, they serve over 500,000 customers and manage over $10 billion in assets.
Dynamo was retained to complete a 138 kV and 230 kV expansion in a brownfield setting, to the Kennedy Switching Station. The scope of work included ducting and direct buried cabling to new high voltage equipment, grounding of all structural steel, lightning mast installation, control building work, flexible and rigid bus installation, installation, and commissioning of new 230 kV and 138 kV apparatus. Also included were the salvage of existing apparatus, equipment, and associated bus work, concrete foundation demolition, and field cabling and wiring removal.
