PROJECT SUMMARY:

Luck Lake Irrigation District is a privately owned and operated irrigation station built in 1984 and is fed from the Lake Diefenbaker water basin. It consists of twenty-six (26) sprinkler-style irrigators providing water to nearly 13,000 irrigable acres of land.

The Luck Lake Irrigation District Pumphouse supplies water to Saskatchewan farmers as well as other various customers in the area. Dynamo performed upgrades and retrofits to the station control equipment and motor protection relays.  Existing GE 269 Motor Management Relays were upgraded to SEL 710 Motor Protection Relays. The controls upgrade consisted of installing new PLCs, HMIs, and FOTPs for all eight (8) existing motor control systems.

Dynamo was responsible for material procurement, relay retrofits, panel fabrication, cable installation, fibre optic terminations, site commissioning, and project turnover to Luck Lake Irrigation District on time to meet their spring irrigation requirements.
