PROJECT SUMMARY:
SaskPower is the electric utility in Saskatchewan. Established nearly 100 years ago they s, they serve over 500,000 customers and manage over $10 billion in assets.
Dynamo has performed relay protection, panel fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning services for SaskPower since 2010 and has been the primary preferred vendor since 2016. Projects include greenfield sites as well as integration into brownfield substation and power production facilities. The scope of supply includes device bench testing, panel fabrication, wiring and testing services, installation, and commissioning.
Through the preferred vendor contract and other larger projects, Dynamo has provided protection and control panels to more than thirty (30) different SaskPower facilities and has experience with nearly all the relay and panel types that SaskPower uses. Sites include: Assiniboia, Auburnton, Boundary Dam, Brada, Bromhead, Clearance, Condie, Ermine, Estevan East, Fleet Street, Golden Lake, Halbrite, Hidden Bay, Kennedy, Kisbey, Lindsay Lake, Lloydminster, Morse Creek, NBEC, Neudorf, Nipawin, Peebles, Points North, Queen Elizabeth, Regina South, Rutland, Senlac, Shaunavon, Superb, Weyburn, Willow Island, Wolverine, and Yellowhead.

Dynamo was retained to complete the decommissioning and disposal of one (1) 20 MVA transformer, BU-410-TX-1 and one (1) high voltage oil circuit breaker, BU-410-TX-1-OCB at the Bethune Station and one (1) 20 MVA transformer, ZP-420-TX-2 at the Loreburn Station.
Dynamo was retained to fabricate, ship, and install a 9.6 m x 4.5 m control building for the Grenfell Substation. Drawings were supplied by Dynamo based on a preliminary design provided by SaskPower.
